Classroom Decorations, Part One

So, I am so thrilled to have my own classroom and have been hoping for this for a number of years!  However, also being crafty I have always known that I wanted my classroom to have some of my own crafty, creative flair. I have been battling for the last few weeks on what type of theme I have wanted in my classroom.  Yesterday, I was in Dollar Tree rummaging through their classroom decorations and wanting just a simple border for my white board.  This was when I came across a cute Robot border.  At first I thought about how that was not my theme, but then I realized it would be perfect.  After all, I do own the Robotz cartridge and there would be so many possibilities.

The first project that I completed was a color chart.  I created 5" cuts of 12 different Robots and each of them focused on a specific color.  I then also cut out the color name and glued it below the corresponding Robot.  I am so excited to see how my classroom will end up.

Happy Creating!
